Who Was Albert Einstein?
Einstein always looked to have a deep understanding of physics problems. He devised his own approach and was able to see major milestones along his long career.
Einstein recognized the shortcomings of Newtonian mechanics early in his scientific career, and his special theory of relativity arose from an attempt to reconcile the rules of physics with the laws of the electromagnetic field. He worked on conventional statistical mechanics difficulties as well as situations in which they were combined with quantum theory, leading to an explanation of Brownian motion in molecules. He studied the thermal properties of light with a low radiation density and established the photon theory of light as a result of his findings.
He proposed that the accurate interpretation of the special theory of relativity must also provide a theory of gravitation during his early days in Berlin, and he released his work on the general theory of relativity in 1916. During this time, he also worked on difficulties in radiation theory and statistical mechanics.
In the 1920s, Einstein began developing unified field theories, albeit he continued to work on the probabilistic interpretation of quantum theory, which he continued in America. He made a significant contribution to statistical mechanics by developing the quantum theory of a monatomic gas, and he also worked on atomic transition probabilities and relativistic cosmology.
Following his retirement, he continued to work toward the unification of fundamental physics concepts, taking the opposite approach to the majority of scientists, geometrisation.
Special Theory of Relativity (1905), Relativity (English translations, 1920 and 1950), General Theory of Relativity (1916), Investigations on Theory of Brownian Movement (1926), and The Evolution of Physics are among Einstein's most well-known books (1938). Among his non-scientific books, the most noteworthy are About Zionism (1930), Why War? (1933), My Philosophy (1934), and Out of My Later Years (1950).
